Writer and Critic.

Co-host of Safe Room, a survival horror game club podcast, and @TIEReview, a journal of independent games criticism.

I’m a sharp writer and a keen editor. I’ve written for Vice, Bulletpoints, GameSpot, The A.V. Club, Paste, among many others! I've also edited in marketing, written grants for non-profits, and ran a successful kickstarter. Contact me!

If you aren’t an editor or other person who can give me a job, there is still ways to support me if you want to.

I do a podcast called The Safe Room where we play horror games! We have some patreon exclusive shows. One is about movies! One is about handheld games! One is also about movies (and philosophy and other stuff)!

I co-edit a website called The Imaginary Engine Review, we just wrapped up our first issue (on the imaginative and peculiar work of Etherane) and we are kicking up our second on the storytelling game Welcome To Elk. We will be sending out our first paywalled essay soon. You can subscribe directly on the website or on Patreon!

If you just want to send me a tip or something, I do have a ko-fi as well! No pressure obviously there is a lot happening in the world right now.

Both of us were incredibly saddened to hear that Cohost will be ending in October. We feel the site was aligned with our mission: to shine a light on the margins of culture and to give those margins space to thrive on their own.

Where we can be found

The easiest way to keep in touch with us is a subscription on Patreon or on our website. Both have free options, though we would appreciate additional funding and support.

The website also has an rss feed, which you can find here.

We still have an official account on Bluesky. Other social media may follow, we are still figuring out our relationship to it.

What we've got cooking

We'll be putting out the first essays in an issue on Overwhelm later this month.

We are also working on a goals page which will serve two purposes.

  1. Offer transparency about our budget
  2. Show how we can expand and strengthen the project with additional funds.

We're looking forward to continuing TIER's work and hope you will join us however you can.

I would like to make a blog button or commission one and maybe I will!

It's a good website about video games and art and culture.
